Attempting to surprise my brother for his 21st birthday by visiting the family in Nashville. We should have been there 3 hours ago, but we’ve been stranded on a highway in Chattanooga for almost 5 hours now. I’m getting hungry, and I’ve already peed in an Arby’s cup once and I’m not looking forward to having to do it again. Also, once we do get moving, we’re still 2 1/2 hours away. AND I can’t vent about this on Facebook because my brother will read it. On the major plus side, we were hugely spared from going through all the storms and tornadoes that have been all around us.
One of my favorite quotes that inspires me more every time I read it:
“Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living the result of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinion drowned your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
